I'm not sure why I personified computer-based communications since I've already made Internet, but there is that fact that computers are used in communication in more ways than that. Hence, it seemed fitting that a separate entity was needed. To address the whole redundancy thing, just call him daddy.
Meet Computer Technology (I used to call him LAN, but that's no longer the case because he is actually the personification of Computers in general, which makes for a more convincing media format than Local Area Networks). He's Internet's dad. His wife is Telecommunications because the two industries are closely tied and people get Internet access mainly from phone companies (at least that's the case in my country).
He's also from the army and was enlisted in the 1940s. I take him to also represent computers that don't run on electricity like the abacus so he's also rather old.
He can only count in ones and zeroes; twos freak him out. He often has trouble with his son because Internet carries all sorts of odd illnesses that he can't stand.
He shares traits with most of his kids. For instance, like Internet, he's a colossal nerd and is pretty much a genius to boot. He's also a bit introverted like Intranet and quite fond of media like Podcast. I'm not sure what he has in common with Arpanet.
He has two shoulder angels. Mac and PC. The other OSs he seems to ignore.
To clarify, he doesn't pay attention to operating systems (OSs)apart from Macintosh and Windows (MAC and PC), such as Linux. Funnily enough, although he does pay attention to his "angels," he'd rather not. He just has to, because that's the only way he can work.
he looks alike to a certain character of the computer world.
